Rennie Govender

Rennie Govender is a distinguished technology enthusiast with extensive experience in IT delivery, operations management, and team leadership. He has been recognized with multiple performance awards and has a strong customer focus. Rennie is particularly interested in driving digital transformation with cutting-edge technologies like AI, Blockchain, Robotics, and Data.

He has to his credit a Blockchain beginner and advanced certification and has studied Blockchain for developers and Ethereum. Apart from this, Rennie has also earned an MBA in Business and Commerce from Regent Business School and a BCOM in management information systems from the University of South Africa.

His previous experience includes serving as Head of Data and Automation CIB Operations Technology, Head of TPS Technology Portfolio South Africa, and Head of TPS Technology - Application Operations and Client Support, all at Standard Bank Group. He has also worked as an IT Advisory Senior Manager at Ernst & Young and held multiple roles at Fedsure Holdings Ltd.
