Jackson Long

Jackson Long, an accomplished lawyer and leader, earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.), cum laude, from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree, with a major in Journalism from the University of Kansas. During his time at SMU, Jackson simultaneously served as the President of the SMU Sports, and Entertainment Law Association and as an editor of the SMU Law Review. This former Jayhawk football player and Kappa Tau Alpha Society inductee is now an associate at Sidley Austin LLP.

Jackson has also held several internships and leadership positions, including Athletics Compliance Intern at Southern Methodist University, Social Media Intern at The BARBRI Group, and Sports Director at KJHK FM Radio 90.7. He also proudly served as the Chapter President, Alumni Relations at Beta Theta Pi - Alpha Nu Chapter. Jackson is a natural leader and a team player, with exceptional communication, organization, and critical thinking skills. Through his extensive professional background, he has honed his talents, providing a healthy work ethic and positive energy towards creative and effective solutions.
