Jaana Rehnström is a retired obstetrician/gynecologist with a passion for human rights activism and nonprofit work. Originally from Finland, she studied medicine at the University of Helsinki before completing a master's degree in public health at Columbia University in New York. With a lifelong dedication to advancing women's rights and promoting cultural understanding, Jaana has served on the board of several nonprofit organizations and founded the Kota Alliance in New York City, a hub for women-focused nonprofits and social entrepreneurs. Throughout her career, Jaana has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to public health, human rights, and community service.
