Marcia Caton Campbell is a well-respected community food systems planning, policy, and research specialist with years of experience in nonprofit management. She has a keen interest in community-based collaborative planning, community-based participatory research, resilience and sustainability planning and research. Currently, she serves as the Executive Director of Rooted, a non-profit organization dedicated to creating a just and equitable food system in Madison, Wisconsin, and beyond.
Marcia has also been an active member of the Dane County Food Council, where she contributed her expertise to promote a healthy, sustainable, and just food system. Besides, she is a Past Chair and Current Member of the Executive Committee at the American Planning Association FOOD Division, where she advocates for community-based approaches to food planning and policy.
