Edwina Tom is a Harvard-educated Asian-American female on a mission to revolutionize the tech, entrepreneurship, and venture capital industry through diversity and inclusion. Her expertise includes financial modeling, startups, venture capital, market research, admissions consulting, recruiting, mentoring, networking, entrepreneurship, leadership, strategy consulting, speaker, investments, market research, and resume writing.

Her impressive educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Citation in Mandarin Chinese from Harvard University, as well as studies in Disciplined Entrepreneurship at Sloan School of Management, Chinese Language and Literature at Beijing Language and Culture University and Fudan University.

Edwina has experience working as an Investment Banking Associate at Lehman Brothers, where she championed diversity initiatives, and even survived the infamous CDO Structuring & Origination Group during The Big Short. She has also worked as a Private Equity Research Associate at Investor Group Services (IGS), CDO Consultant at Primus Asset Management, and CDO Asset Management Associate at First Winthrop Corporation.

Edwina's diverse cultural background includes having lived in North America, Europe, and Asia, and speaking English, Cantonese, and Mandarin fluently. She is the founder and CEO of Extraordinary Minority Business Leaders, Entrepreneurs, and Mentors (EMBLEM) and has mentored three high school students who were accepted to Harvard's Class of 2020. Edwina's interests include language and cultural exchange, helping under-represented communities, and inspiring others to change the world one day at a time.
