Edwin Lubanga

Edwin Lubanga is the CTO and Co-Founder of Snark Health, a company focused on making healthcare accessible and affordable through an alternative care delivery model.45 He is a technology native and telecommunications engineer with a strong passion for scaling consumer software products in both developed and emerging markets.1

Edwin holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Polytechnic University of Turin, Italy.13 His professional experience includes:

• Co-founding Snark Health in August 20183
• Working as CTO at KnownAfrique LLP since November 20153
• Participating in the Berkeley University Blockchain Xcelerator program3
• Serving as IT & Application Support Lead at Pawame3
• Leading technology projects for Nairobi Design Week3

Edwin has also worked on mobile applications projects at Telecom Italia and robust communications for Gruppo Torinese Trasporti (GTT) while in Italy.13 He later moved to London through a UK government initiative aimed at bringing talented graduate entrepreneurs to establish new businesses in the UK.1

Currently based in Nairobi, Kenya, Edwin leads the tech development at Snark Health.13 He is also involved in mentoring and speaking engagements, including serving as an Industry Expert Mentor for African Impact Initiative.3 Edwin is part of the World Health Innovation Forum (WHIF) Fellowship and spent six months in India as part of this program.2
