Receiving/shipping assets for a successful campaign, strategically choosing key locations around Chicago to do formal/informal appearances with Monopoly Man (costume character) and helping manage the character as well. Sticking to a tight timeline and ensuring the client received maximum exposure for their campaign to help spread awareness for Junior Achievement nationwide across this multi-city launch. Managing Logistics support and scheduling for Lightlife, a plant-based alternative meat company, at a Chicago Bears tailgating event in the Miller Lite Tailgate Zone at Soldier Field. Inbound/outbound of assets and event setup, setup/teardown, management of staff, scheduling, cooking/cleanup/sanitation, as well as delivering brand speaking points. Campaign turned out to be very successful with a great amount of consumer feedback and impression. Coupons and flyers were handed out, no data capture.

Took 48 hours, including gathering rental van, tools and materials for building the shop, meeting labor crew at storage, gathering assets to transport to Bryant Park, product pick-up/load-in, laying down flooring, walls, shelves, cabinets, neon lighting, breaking down boxes and laying out product in shelves in the store. Speaking to consumers one on one regarding the new Kindle Paperwhite, engagements ranged from 4-10 minutes, depending on how in-depth consumers would want to get into the experience.  There were self-guided demos, as well as brand ambassador-led.  I managed a 20' box truck with liftgate, performed load-in, setup, activation (10 hour days), and load-out duties.  Typical week was 50-60 hours plus drive time.  Engagement numbers were achieved at 130% of goal.

Showcasing the 2014 Chevy Silverado at State/Agricultural Fairs, NFL Games, and College Football games.  Setup is about 40'x60', includes a considerable amount of electronics, televisions, Blu-Ray players, wireless mic system, camera system, speakers, as well as interactive demo displays, 3-5 vehicles on display (open to public interaction) and much more.I personally manage 3 others (as well as labor staff for setup/breakdown events), including scheduling, budget, purchasing of supplies and assets, troubleshooting electronics, a 34' trailer, as well as maintaining brand-new GM demo vehicles.Typical day can vary from 14-16 hour days, crowds can vary from 1,000-100,000, and paper and electronic leads are also used.I am also responsible for photo and written-recapping.

Daily DutiesManaging a staff of 10, including 7 Brand Ambassadors and 2 Digital Artists, and an assistant manager, daily tasks include: Setup and opening of the activation footprint, troubleshooting the PC tablets, 42" Vizio LED TV, as well as a 24" Vizio All-In-One Desktop; Prize award management, schedule/break management, etc.Consumer EngagementEach demo experience lasts 7-10 minutes per consumer where we reveal all the tech specs of the Windows Surface tablet, as well as the aesthetic advantages, the pros and cons, comparing it to competitors such as the iPad and the Galaxy Tab, and much more. Traveling to 7 college campuses across the country in 2 months, Microsoft has entrusted myself and two other managers to showcase various Windows PCs, HTC Phones, and the XBOX Kinect to hundreds of thousands of college students nationwide.  My responsibilities include setup and activation of a 30x30 tent, with luxurious fabric walls lining the outside of the tent and vinyl flooring laid down, computer kiosks and laptops on tall tables, with a 70' flat screen tv to give the entire experience the feeling of a "Microsoft lounge".  Daily, we have sweepstakes entries, surveys done, photography station(s), self-guided demos, and even XBOX Kinect dance-offs.  A high-energy, high-traffic environment makes for lots of hands-on consumer engagement and I also assist with the managing of a staff of 5 and dealing with local laborers (3-5), logistics, truck drivers, and even coffee vendors and more!  Expected outreach is over 100,000 for this test program.

Managing a team of 6 brand ambassadors, Santa Claus, and a photographer at the Midway airport, we aim to educate consumers on the Windows 7 Microsoft Live Essentials tool, especially with using PhotoFuse, a new tool within Windows Live Photo Gallery, for layering photos and fusing similar features across several photos to create the best photo possible.  Airport patrons will be able to take several photos along with their family with Santa Claus, participate in surveys on brand perception, get a free holiday photo, and get great incentives for doing so!  Viral marketing will include social location-based sharing opportunities and email sharing using Windows Live Mail software.  Expected outreach is to be in the thousands at Midway.

Driving a Ford-F150 and a 26' trailer embellished in decals, representing Behr Paint and Home Depot across the Northeast Coast.  There are 3-5 events a week and our primary goal is to engage with paint contractors and ensure they get a better brand perception of Behr Paint, as well as answering any questions they may have and assisting them with any services they may desire.  Working with an assistant tour manager and at least 3-10 local sales reps, a minimum of 20 leads are generated daily in the attempt to raise sales at each retail location worked.  Setup includes 3-10x10 decal tents, a spray paint booth, demo area, registration area, and breakfast/lunch lounge.  In the entire program, we added a potential $50M+ of business through lead generation efforts, as well as on-site mass sales efforts.  Through the Midwest team, we reached out to roughly 5,000 contractors, 1-on-1, and worked with several hundred Behr field sales reps and professionals.
