Edward Bear Miller

Edward Miller is a versatile individual with a diverse educational background and a wealth of professional experiences.

Edward attended Millbrook School for high school and later pursued his studies at St. Albans, Reed College where he obtained a B.A. in History, and Lewis and Clark College where he earned an M.A. in Social Studies Teaching. Additionally, he obtained a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Painting from SUNY New Paltz.

His professional journey includes roles such as a painter at Bear Miller Studio, Vice President at Foundry Gallery, and High School History Teacher at Maya Angelou Public Charter School. Edward also served as a Social Studies Teacher, Spanish Teacher, and Tennis Coach at The Potomac School, as well as a Social Studies Teacher and Tennis Coach at Flint Hill School.

Moreover, he has experience as a Substitute Teacher at Cambridge Rindge and Latin School, taught Social Studies and English at Colegio Menor San Francisco de Quito, and served as a Social Studies and Substitute Teacher at Mt. Vernon High School.
