GoodLux is a team of Harvard doctors and data scientists working to make people healthier and happier by tracking and managing light exposure. We developed the SunSprite Wearable Light Tracker (www.sunsprite.com) and related IP. 

Tracking and managing light exposure is essential to health. Every cell in your body has clock genes that regulate processes on a daily cycle. Light received through your eyes is the strongest signal synchronizing all these processes. 
 - Light has a huge effect on sleep, especially blue light near bedtime. 
 - Light has been proven to be as effective as Prozac for improving mood. 
 - An optimized circadian rhythm can improve athletic performance up to 10%. 

We believe that managing light exposure will become as important as diet and exercise for being healthy and happy.

Most importantly, we're changing lives: 88% of those suffering from depression improved, and 73% of those struggling to wake up or fall asleep improved.

- RFID security lab at NIST Boulder. Worked on anti-terrorism work for the Department of Homeland Security.
- Studied the security of RFID technology, especially on-chip physical security.
- Drafted a design for a physically secure RFID chip.

Summer 2005: Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, Berkeley, CA
- Designed and tested a SPIDER interferometer for the optimization of pulse compression in femtosecond spectroscopy.
- Developed a LabVIEW program to resolve optical pulse phase information from interferograms using Fourier transforms.
