Edward Huang

Edward Huang, also known as Baiwen, recently graduated student from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a B.S. in Computer Science. During his academic journey, he demonstrated a keen interest and expertise in various fields of technology and research.

During his sophomore summer, Edward interned at Turing Robot, an AI startup renowned for having the world's largest chatbot open platform. There, he was involved in building a children's chatbot, showcasing his skills in artificial intelligence and chatbot development.

In his junior and senior years, Edward's focus shifted towards impactful research at the METX Lab where he applied machine learning techniques to HIV research. Additionally, he contributed to a research paper on machine vision in Chen Qian's lab at UCSC. Edward's commitment to research and academia was further highlighted by his role as a tutor for computer science classes, where he shared his knowledge and expertise with fellow students.

Edward Huang has a diverse professional background, having worked as a Software Engineer at Goldman Sachs, previously held a similar role at Amgen, and served as a tutor for Algorithms, Abstract Data Types, and Data Structures at the University of California, Santa Cruz - Jack Baskin School of Engineering. He also contributed as a Research Assistant at Systems Prototype Lab and Computational Researcher at METX Camps Lab. Edward's experiences have honed his skills in software development, research, and academic mentorship.

Currently seeking new opportunities, Edward Huang is eager to leverage his skills and experience as he embarks on a career as a software engineer, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and a passion for innovation.
