Edward Hanson

Edward Hanson is a Partner at Southern Right Capital, where he has been involved since January 2021. He has over 20 years of experience in Private Equity and Real Estate. Prior to his role at Southern Right Capital, he worked at Babcock & Brown, where he helped establish its European Real Estate business and raised the group's first Private Equity fund. He later became the CEO of Babcock & Brown Investment Management Limited.

In 2009, Edward played a pivotal role in separating the General Partner of the fund from Babcock & Brown, leading to the establishment of the Global Partners Fund. He has also been a director at Corviglia Capital Limited since 2014, which focuses on funding joint ventures with property developers. Edward relocated to New Zealand in 2020 and splits his time between Auckland and Sydney.123
