Edward has held key positions such as Principal Manager of the Patent and Design Lodgements Group, Lead Principal of the Engineering ICT Group, and overseer of the South Pacific Islands patent and design practices.

Transitioning from a professional engineer to a patent attorney in 1997, Edward specializes in patent and design applications, global portfolio management, branding, contentious matters, oppositions, enforcement, and commercialization.

With expertise in engineering, IP law, industrial litigation, coaching, and mentoring, Edward crafts tailored IP strategies for a diverse clientele, including individuals, start-ups, SMEs, universities, and multi-national corporations, spanning industries like consumer products, medical devices, AgTech, robotics, mining, and more.

Edward's educational background includes Masters degrees in Legal Studies and Industrial Property, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the University of Technology Sydney.
