Edward Chan

Edward Chan is a seasoned business leader with a diverse background in technology transfer, nanotechnology, packaging, and capital formation of start-ups. With a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University, Chan's strengths lie in his ability to integrate innovation culture in organizations, commercialization, technology scale-up, and operations. He has an impressive track record of successfully leading people and driving business change, resulting in improved customer offerings and increased revenues.

With over 20 years of experience in R&D, Chan has held pivotal positions at top-tier companies like DuPont, James River, International Paper, Kuraray Company, Tyco – Plastics and Adhesives Division, and Fiberweb. At Fiberweb, he directed global research and product development portfolio, managed innovation processes, and implemented product stewardship. In addition, Chan has served as Chief Executive Officer at Groundstar, LLC, Chief Operating Officer at Sellside, Inc., Executive Vice President at Global Graphene Group, Executive Vice President of Operations at General Nano, LLC, Managing Director at Innova Performance Films and Membranes, LLC, Managing Partner at Retail and Web Services, Sr. Product Development Manager at International Paper, Research Associate at James River Corporation, and Senior Engineer at E.I.
