Edward M. Anderson is the founding shareholder of Anderson Yeh PC, formerly known as Anderson General & Entertainment Law PC.1 He is an experienced attorney with a diverse background in entertainment law and business affairs.
Education and Early Career
Edward Anderson received his J.D. from Boalt Hall, University of California at Berkeley in 1998.1 He also attended the Art Center College of Design's Illustration/Fine Art Program in 1994 and earned an A.B. from Stanford University in 1991.1
Anderson has been part of the Los Angeles legal community since 1992 and became a member of the Bar in 1998.1 He began his legal career at White O'Connor Curry Gatti & Avanzado LLP, where he gained significant experience in litigation, including cases for media and entertainment companies as well as non-media clients.1
Entertainment Industry Experience
From 2003 to 2007, Anderson served as in-house litigation counsel for Sony Pictures Entertainment Inc., where he managed hundreds of litigation matters worldwide.1 His responsibilities included working closely with the Participations and Participations Audit departments and developing litigation strategies for major film releases.1
Later, Anderson expanded his expertise in the entertainment industry by working as Executive Vice President, Distribution Business Affairs, where he focused on developing and negotiating distribution agreements and strategic partnerships for content distribution across various platforms.1
Founding Anderson Yeh PC
In July 2007, Edward Anderson founded his own firm, initially named Anderson General & Entertainment Law PC.1 The firm has since been renamed Anderson Yeh PC, with Anderson serving as the owner and founding shareholder.2
Anderson Yeh PC specializes in entertainment and media law, providing legal and consulting services to clients in Santa Monica, California, and the surrounding areas.3 The firm's client base has included major Hollywood studios, non-entertainment companies, and private individuals.1
