Eduardo Sandoval is a dedicated researcher in Human Robot Interaction with a passion for Industrial Design and Design of Tangible Interfaces.
His extensive career spans across Research, Education, and the Biomedical Industry, where he has excelled in roles such as sales engineer, supervisor, and Biomedical engineer.
Eduardo holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Human Robot Interaction from the University of Canterbury, a Master's degree in Industrial Design from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, and a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Bionics from the National Polytechnic Institute IPN.
He has also pursued further education with a Special Research Student program in Human Robot Interaction at 大阪大学 and completed his High School Diploma in Telecommunications Technology/Technician at Instituto Politécnico Nacional.
Eduardo has affiliations with various prestigious organizations such as being a Scientia Lecturer at UNSW, a former Postdoctoral Researcher at Cognitive Interaction Technology Excellence Technology in Bielefeld University Germany, and a former Academic Tutor at Human Interface Technology Lab NZ.
His experience includes positions such as Research and Product Manager at GRE Robotics, Lecturer in Science and Maths for Design at Master in Industrial Design, UNAM, and Sessional Lecturer at multiple institutions including Technological University of Mexico (UNITEC), Universidad TecMilenio, and National Polytechnic Institute of Mexico.
Moreover, he has professional experience as a Sales Engineer at IISA, Supervisor of Laparoscopic Services at Johnson & Johnson, and Biomedical Engineer at Hospitales Star Médica.
Eduardo envisions establishing his own Lab of Human Robot Interaction while exploring interests in social robotics for entertainment and education.
