Eduard Kucera

Eduard Kucera is a Partner at Presto Ventures, a venture capital firm based in Prague, Czech Republic, focusing on early-stage investments in deep tech and AI/ML startups. At Presto Ventures, he helps startups build robust products and establish strong IT foundations, leveraging his expertise in technology, DevOps, BI, and cybersecurity.12

Before joining Presto Ventures, Eduard played a pivotal role at Avast Software, where he built and managed the Business Intelligence department. His contributions were instrumental in Avast's hyper-growth, mergers and acquisitions, and IPO. Additionally, Eduard has founded and successfully exited several internet projects, showcasing his entrepreneurial acumen.12

Eduard is known for his hands-on approach and ability to quickly assess application architectures. Outside of work, he enjoys good food, snowy mountains, and spending time with his three children. As a teenager, he managed fan websites that generated significant revenue.2
