Edith Law
Associate Professor at University of Waterloo
Edith Law is an Associate Professor at the David R. Cheriton School of Computer Science at the University of Waterloo.13 She leads the Augmented Intelligence Lab and co-directs the Human Computer Interaction Lab.1 Law holds a Ph.D. in Machine Learning from Carnegie Mellon University, a Master's in Computer Science from McGill University, and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of British Columbia.13

Her research is funded by NSERC Discovery Grant, NSERC-CIHR Collaborative Health Research Project (CHRP), and the CFI-JELF program.1 Law's work spans areas such as human computation, crowdsourcing, citizen science, and the design of AI systems that augment human abilities and virtues.23
