Edgar Montoya is a seasoned Senior ETO (Electronic Technical Officer) with a rich background in marine electrical engineering.

Since 2008, Edgar has held roles on various DP Semi vessels in the Bay of Campeche, Gulf of Mexico, such as 'DP2 Safe Lancia,' 'DP2 Safe Regency,' 'Safe Jasminia,' and 'Semi II.'

His expertise includes planning and executing annual DP Trials and FMEA's, writing work procedures and manuals, managing electrical spare parts inventory, and overseeing automation upgrades and high voltage systems.

Edgar is well-versed in maintaining and updating electrical drawings for different systems and installations.

He possesses a comprehensive set of training courses, including High Voltage Procedures and DP Maintenance, making him a valuable asset for any offshore unit or vessel.
