Edgar Kalns is an experienced professional with over 20 years of expertise in conceptualizing, architecting, and delivering Conversational AI solutions across various industries. He has a strong background in speech and natural language solutions, from cutting-edge research prototypes to large-scale deployed systems handling millions of customer interactions daily.

Currently serving as a Specialist Leader in Conversational AI at Deloitte Consulting, Edgar is a subject matter expert driving the development of next-generation omnichannel solutions that enhance user experience and reduce operational costs for clients. With previous roles at reputable organizations such as SRI International, [24]7.ai, and Nuance Communications, he has demonstrated leadership in managing interdisciplinary teams and fostering global talent through recruitment, mentoring, and team growth initiatives.

Edgar Kalns pursued his academic journey in Computer Science, earning a Ph.D. and M.S. from Michigan State University, and a B.S. with Honors from the University of Michigan.
