The role of Waste Less Project Officer included managing and marketing the Wash Against Waste Hire Service to reduce the amount of waste from events going to landfill.Key Achievements:- Managed a $50,000 project to revitalise the hire service.- Fundraised over $3,500 through the Community Foundation for Central Victoria’s Big Give campaign.- Expanded hire service to include equipment that can be hired separately from the Wash Against Waste trailer.

The role of Data Analyst for the Spark Energy for Change Program was to develop case studies on the financial and greenhouse gas emissions savings of seven YMCA sites across Australia who have participated in the program. I was also responsible for analysing the achievements of the wider Spark program, by defining and calculating impactful outcomes and communicating these in a clear and accessible manner.Key achievements:- Produced high quality case studies on the financial and greenhouse gas emissions savings of seven YMCA facilities across Australia.

The role of Healthy Environments Project Officer was to develop the program and communications strategy for the 2015 Sustainable Living Workshop Series, develop the 2015/16 Waste and Recycling Collection Calendar, revamp the New Rural Landowners Kits, assist with website updates and provide administrative support to the Healthy Environments team.

The role of Youth Leading the Mallee Coordinator was to build the capacity of young people in the Mallee region of Victoria to become informed citizens, actively involved in strengthening the wellbeing, resilience and sustainability of their communities. The project is based on OzGREEN's Youth Leading the World initiative, currently running in over 100 communities across Australia and globally.Key Achievements:- Organised and facilitated Youth Leading the World Congresses in Castlemaine, Mansfield and Swan Hill which educated and engaged over 100 young people.- Organised and facilitated a Youth Leading the World Facilitator Training in Swan Hill which educated and engaged secondary school students.  - Received local media attention, including newspaper and radio.

The role of Waste Less Project Officer was to develop and maintain the Waste Less project from the ground up, establishing relationships in the business community in the Mount Alexander Shire that supplied wastes to householders and community groups.Key Achievements:- Surveyed 150+ businesses in the Mount Alexander Shire.- Developed website to assist local residents, organisations and schools to re-purpose business waste. The role of Regional Education Officer was to assist stakeholders in the Central Murray region to develop the necessary understanding, capacity and commitment to change practices and undertake activities to reduce waste and litter.Key Achievements:- 30%+ reduction in waste being sent to landfill in Swan Hill through the Towards Zero Waste Challenge.- Collected more than 1 tonne of household batteries in the 2013/2014 financial year. - Significant reduction in roadside litter along the entire length of the Sunraysia Highway.

Key Achievements:- Engaged 300+ residents on sustainability issues at the World Environment Day Community Fair.- Oversaw the Sustainability Accord-funded ‘Building the Buzz’ project, including convening the staff Green Team and developing the Green Team Action Plan.- Having the CEO award Council’s inaugural Staff Sustainability Awards and Scholarships.- Compiled a comprehensive Implementation Report for Council on the first year of the Greenhouse Action Plan.
