Varvara Degtiarenko is an interdisciplinary professional with a background in art history, chemistry, and textile conservation. She studied at Virginia Commonwealth University and STRELKA INSTITUTE FOR MEDIA, ARCHITECTURE, AND DESIGN. Her experience includes working as a filmmaker, producer, textile conservator, project organizer, innovator, and writer at various organizations. Varvara is also a former intern and volunteer at museums and foundations such as VIRGINIA MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS and JAMESTOWN-YORKTOWN FOUNDATION. Additionally, she has worked as a costume technician, researcher, and director's office intern. Varvara's passion for art, culture, and history have given her expertise in interdisciplinary fields, providing her with a diverse range of storytelling techniques.
