Eddie Harris

Eddie Harris is a skilled and imaginative leader with a diversified background in strategic planning, event management, and program development. Mr. Harris holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. As an accomplished educator and facilitator, he possesses extensive subject matter familiarity in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Mr. Harris has great communication abilities and is apt at adapting to new concepts excellently, working gracefully under pressure, and communicating innovative ideas effectively. He has remarkable interpersonal skills and is an enthusiastic and sociable person. Mr. Harris is a talented public speaker and presenter who has delivered numerous speeches openly.

At Sofar Sounds, Mr. Harris is the head of DEI (Global) and a former City Director. Mr. Harris has also worked as a PR and Branding Coach, a Program Director at the Young Black Leadership Alliance (YBLA), a Contract - Events Administrator at TCG Events, Inc., and a Software Implementation Consultant at The Reynolds and Reynolds Company. Furthermore, he was a Public Relations Intern, Information Center Specialist, Summer Associate in UNC Charlotte Freedom School, and a Conference Assistant at UNC Charlotte.
