Carol Goforth
Carol Goforth is a well-known law professor and researcher, specializing in commercial law, contract law, and blockchain technology. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas and a Juris Doctorate from Southern Methodist University. Later, she obtained her Master of Laws from the New York University School of Law. Currently, Carol is a Professor of Law at the University of Arkansas School of Law, where she has been teaching since 1992. She has also been a visiting professor at various universities globally.
Carol has authored several books, including the "Blockchain and the Law," "Rethinking Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code," among others. Besides, she has published more than 40 academic articles and book chapters, delivering lectures on blockchain law in both national and international events. Carol is also an active member of the American Law Institute and the Uniform Law Commission's Joint Editorial Board on Uniform Commercial Code.
