Edgar Ramirez is an accomplished Quality Engineer with a passion for biomedical industry and a substantial background in research and overseeing all manufacturing processes of devices. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Biology with an Emphasis in Bioengineering, and a solid GPA of 3.15 from San Diego State University-California State University. Ramirez is innovative, self-motivated, and a hands-on problem solver with diverse design, manufacturing, and R&D experience in medical device production.

Ramirez has held several significant positions in his career, including his current role as Quality Engineer 2 (Validation) at Hologic, Inc., a manufacturing engineer at Cal-Comp USA and Inovio Pharmaceuticals Inc., and a forensic biomechanical engineer - reconstructionist at Vanderpol and Associates. He has also served as a KMU Sports Medicine R&D Biomechanic Engineering-intern at The National Institutes of Health, led the Personal Flotation Device SDSU Senior Design Biomechanical team at San Diego State University, worked as a rehabilitation biomechanics lead UG research assistant, and taught as a BIO251: Human Anatomy Lab UG Teaching Assistant at San Diego State University. In addition, Ramirez has served as Mexamerica Accountant Assistant at Mexamerica Int.
