Edac Laura Kennedy is a skilled ecological designer and permaculture enthusiast with a passion for sustainable agriculture, forest gardening, and foraging. Her education includes a Bachelor's degree in Human Factors and Ergonomics, Design and Environmental Analysis from Cornell University, as well as a Permaculture Design Certification from Finger Lakes Permaculture Institute and other related courses.
In addition to her coursework, Edac has gained extensive practical experience working as an Edible Ecosystem Designer at Auburn Permaculture Park, a Herbalism Apprentice at Rootwork Herbals, and a Permaculture Apprentice at Cayuta Sun Farm, among other roles. She has also been involved in planning committees, teaching permaculture to elementary school students, and conducting research and design work for institutions such as the Healthcare Design Innovations Lab at Cornell University.
