- Promotion from Product Manager]- Reporting to the EVP Business Operations, continued to develop CoolIT’s Marketing and Product Roadmap for new datacenter products and promotion while working with all levels of Management to implement and launch successfully and on budget.- Created and executed 2018, 2019 and 2020 Marketing budget, averaging $250K+ per year in total spend.- Directly managed third-party Marketing contractors (graphic designers, photographers, videographers, etc) and the internal Product Management group.- Strategized with Engineering to layout 5 Year R&D plan to align with Marketing objectives and meet upcoming customer demands and industry trends.- Oversaw both SC (Super Compute) and ISC (International Super Compute), CoolIT’s most important annual conferences regarding booth strategy, content, staffing and logistics. Routinely attended smaller OEM specific events in both North America and Europe to investigate market needs and evangelize new products and general company brand.- Routinely collected product and marketing survey feedback from CoolIT OEM partners to validate the company’s roadmap.- Participated actively in community associations on behalf of CoolIT Systems, including The Green Grid (TGG), Open Compute Project (OCP) and the Energy Efficiency High Performance Computing Working Group (EEHPCWG).- Chaired The Green Grid CDU Best Practices whitepaper working group, which created an introductory paper on the nuances of Coolant Distribution Unit selection and operation with participation from HPE, IBM, Intel, Huawei and others.

CoolIT Systems

Sr. Marketing Manager

- Promotion from Project Manager]- Reporting to the VP Product Marketing, developed CoolIT’s Product Roadmap for new datacenter products while working with all levels of Management to implement successfully. This included bi-monthly company wide marketing updates on Product Roadmap progress and resulting changes or impacts to all teams.- Managed the BOM, sales margin and production schedule for multiple core CoolIT products to meet the growth goals set out by CoolIT Senior Management.- Developed the Product Manager’s Guide as the key document used for new Product Managers to learn their role and established the “Core Team” concept as the standard project/product focused team structure.- Created and maintained a Sales Team pricing tool for the Sales Team to utilize when quoting products to their customers without Engineering Support for solutions.

Product Manager

- Led multiple Engineering, Procurement, Production and Marketing teams through the successful conception, development and launch of core CoolIT Datacenter products and customer products.- Implemented SCRUM to manage sprint periods of cross department task management, while maintained the overarching Project Management to ensure long term success.- Communicated with our remote Sales Team in Europe and Production team China team on a regular basis to manage new opportunities, prototype production and supplier qualification.- Worked closely with major OEM and Hyperscaler customers to interpret their needs and coordinate development efforts to reach their aggressive schedule and budget targets.- Project managed the successful development and validation of multiple joint Liquid Cooled products with both public and non-disclosed OEM partners.- Created key product collateral and Operation Manuals to support product launches and service periods.

- Pitched the product platform to 500+ investors and industry professionals during Investor DemoDay- Participated in Berlin based StartupBootcamp to assist with developing the startup company- Lead local fundraising efforts in Canada for Calgary based startup to satisfy short term capital needs- Underwent VC Investor Due Diligence with the company and organized supporting documentation- Established a strategic partnership with Mercedes-Benz involving future commercial products andintegration with Envio products in 2016

- Maintained dual roles of Product Manager and Supply Chain manager, bridging the gap between upcoming customer demand and ongoing supplier purchases- Implemented new workflow processes to increase efficiency for myself and our team- Designed and maintained the EZ-Robot Master BOM documents for all new and existing products- Worked closely with our remote team in China to setup product assembly and autonomous order fulfilment logistics for the EZ-Robot Revolution product line- Established supply chain and purchasing logistics with 15+ new product suppliers- Reviewed and improved quality control of pre and post assembled products- Implemented daily meeting structure with Calgary team to share daily and weekly work objectives and foster better cross department collaboration- Oversaw product launches from inception to market release on multiple new products

- Managed the budget, sponsorship drive, promotions, venue logistics and volunteers during the 2011 Startup Calgary Launch Party (300+ attendees)- Managed all external organizational content via email, Mailchimp, Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook, etc)- Created meaningful events and programs for the tech community- Developed strong partnerships with service providers and investor groups looking to leverage the Startup Calgary audience- Worked with the VP Partnerships to create a sustainable organization plan, including planning for new staff and future revenue sources, and redefine the organization’s vision and provided the framework and scheduling for implementation.- Implemented a successful long term partnership with technology co-working space AcceleratorYYC, which included a weekly event series, and quarterly partnered events.

Startup Calgary

Development Director

- Organized and lead a group of Alberta’s top technology entrepreneurs through mentorship and investing opportunities with startups throughout the province.- Built and managed the A100 Outreach program, a 12 month initiative which pushed A100 members out to the community in order to increase public awareness of the organization- Organized over 20 events involving A100 members, occurring in both Edmonton and Calgary- Planned and executed all A100 Board meetings with assistance from the Executive Director- Managed new member invoicing and existing member renewals

- Managed the physical translation process of our base code into five non-english languages through a team of translators located around the world- Provided consistent and precise online community moderation for two of Chaordix’s most active online communities- Completed routine software testing, including in-depth testing prior to each site launch or update
