Sumit Keshan is a seasoned investing professional with over 25 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and business operations. He is currently the Managing Partner of Wipro Consumer Care Ventures, where he focuses on investing in innovative and disruptive startups in the consumer space. Previously, Sumit held leadership positions in various organizations and played a key role in executing multiple deals across countries and sectors, deploying over USD 900 million. He was the Director of South Asia at CDC Group plc, where he managed a portfolio of around USD 200 million, concentrating on healthcare, logistics, food and agriculture. Sumit has also served in senior management roles in corporates like Deutsche Bank, listed companies, Gokaldas Exports, and Sobha Developers Ltd. Moreover, he has an entrepreneurial experience as the founder of Olive Fin, a digital lending startup. Sumit is a Chartered Accountant and a Cost Accountant, having studied Accounting and Finance and Financial Management Services at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India, respectively.
