Paul Stadnik is a highly accomplished Engineering Manager at Biotronik, a renowned biomedical implants developer in Lake Oswego, Oregon. He holds an MSEE from Stanford University, a BSEE from Michigan State University, and an MBA from Colorado State University. At Biotronik, Paul leads a group responsible for developing MRI conditionally safe cardiac implants and creating the world’s first cardiac medical implants with embedded radios. His teams have a proven track record of delivering leading-edge technologies in the medical device and communications markets.

Prior to Biotronik, Paul held management positions at renowned companies like Tektronix and Applied Signal Technology. He holds multiple patents and has presented at various IEEE EMBCs and Institute of Navigation Conferences. Paul is a regular speaker in Wireless Systems Design, Broadband Systems and Design, and IEEE Pulse. He has also been a Session Chair at ISMICT and a Program Evaluator for ABET.

In his career, Paul has demonstrated his exceptional ability to build and lead close-knit teams that enjoy their work and are eager to tackle challenging problems. His responsibilities at Biotronik include technical development, personnel supervision, project management, strategic planning, and financial management. He has extensive international experience in Europe and Asia, where he collaborated with overseas sister organizations, negotiated OEM relationships, supply chain vendors, international standards groups, international patent submissions, and international symposia. He has a broad technical background in biomedical, DSP, communications, and wireless.
