I advise on a range of domestic and international employment law issues.  My domestic practice focuses on hiring and firing, discrimination, harassment, whistleblower, wage and hour, trade secrets, non-competition, and other issues arising under state and federal employment laws.  My international practice involves assisting companies in developing strategies and policies for managing cross-border workforces.

I also focus on cutting edge issues at the intersection of employment law and workforce management.  As part of Covington's Business and Human Rights Initiative, I assist companies to implement tools for monitoring, combatting, and remedying forced and trafficked labor in their international supply chains.  I also work with companies to conduct audits of workplace culture and root out harassment and discrimination.

I served as an intern on the White House Domestic Policy Council, where I assisted the Special Assistant to the President for Labor and Workforce Policy in analyzing and developing new policy proposals.  My work focused on all aspects of domestic labor, employment, and workforce policy, including minimum wage, overtime, worker safety, workforce education and training, and immigration.

Domestic Policy Council Intern - Workforce Policy

Office of the Legal Adviser - Office of Employment Law.  I assisted staff attorneys in defending the State Department against employment-related claims.  My work included researching issues of employment law, drafting answers to complaint, and drafting dispositive motions.
