Rabbi Adam Greenwald

Rabbi Adam Greenwald is an accomplished individual with a strong commitment to Jewish education and community engagement.

Currently serving as the Vice President for Jewish Engagement at American Jewish University, Rabbi Greenwald also oversees the Maas Center for Jewish Journeys and the Miller Introduction to Judaism Program.

In addition to his administrative roles, he imparts his knowledge as a Lecturer in Rabbinics at the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies.

Rabbi Greenwald's dedication to Jewish education was recognized when he was honored with the Covenant Foundation's prestigious Pomegranate Prize in Jewish Education in 2016.

His educational background includes an M.A. in Rabbinic Ordination from American Jewish University and a B.A. in History and Jewish Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles.

With an extensive professional history, Rabbi Greenwald has held roles such as Rabbi/Director at the Miller Introduction to Judaism Program and Revson Rabbinic Fellow at IKAR.

He has also contributed his expertise as a Rabbinic Intern at Congregation B'nai Israel of Tustin and as an Educator at the PANIM Institute of BBYO, showcasing his diverse experience in the field of Jewish education and community involvement.
