Raffael Tancman is a polyglot developer hailing from Rio de Janeiro. He has been working in web development since 2008 and has a wealth of experience in the field. He is a gamer and a devoted fan of the game League of Legends, and also loves to catch waves whenever he can. He received his education from UNIVERCIDADE da Cidade, where he studied Software Development, and from Colégio 1º de Maio, where he studied Computer Science. Later, he completed the Programa Nanodegree Desenvolvedor React, Tecnologia da Informação at Udacity, where he further honed his skills.

Over the years, Tancman has worked with various organizations in different capacities. He was formerly a Technical Lead at Jusbrasil, a Software Engineer at Resultados Digitais, Serasa Experian, and Globo.com, as well as a Full Stack Developer at Personare.com.br. He has also worked as a Freelancer for various clients, including Mauricio Salgueiro and Feito com Arte. Tancman has a keen interest in Information Retrieval, Learning to Rank, Elasticsearch, Scala, and Spark.

In addition to his professional experience, Tancman was also an Ambassador of Civic Innovation at Open Knowledge Brasil, where he shared his knowledge with others and contributed to the betterment of society.
