John Berry is a seasoned software builder with over fifteen years of diverse experience in the tech industry. He describes himself as a generalist with an excellent understanding of the full technology stack, from browser-based Javascript to high-performance database clusters. John's expertise includes software engineering best practices, product requirements, and resource constraints. He has contributed to the success of a rapidly-growing startup, led a forty-person engineering organization, and built and scaled a large website's infrastructure from scratch.

John studied electrical engineering at Princeton University and has held various roles in numerous organizations. He previously worked as a consulting software engineer at Ulf Magnetics, Inc. and held multiple positions at Lumos Labs (Lumosity), including Vice President of Product Engineering, Director of Product Engineering, Rails Engineer, and Director of Operations.
