Fabio Tiriticco
Fabio Tiriticco is a skilled engineer and entrepreneur with a passion for distributed systems and event-based, streaming data technology. Based in Amsterdam, Tiriticco has a master's degree in Telecommunication Engineering from Università di Roma Tor Vergata. He is the founder of the Reactive Amsterdam meetup, which provides a forum for discussing technologies and ideas related to performance, resilience, and scalability. With expertise in Scala and Akka, Tiriticco excels in architecting reactive systems, and has maintained several successful open-source libraries, such as those available on his GitHub page.
In his career, Tiriticco has worked with a range of companies, including Fontem Ventures, Sopossum, Ace & Tate, Dusk Foundation, Zoover & Weeronline, Perfect Earth BV, and Snipper, among others. During his tenure in these roles, he has served as a software engineer, architect, consultant, CTO, tech lead, and team lead, among many others. In addition, Tiriticco is a former co-organizer of Kubernetes Community Days Amsterdam and has served as a contributor to The Things Network.
Tiriticco is also an avid cyclist and adventurer, having published a book about his global travels. He has a personal love for action cameras and video editing, and infuses his work with a creativity that sets him apart in the technology field.
