Lauren Waggoner, PhD, is an accomplished researcher and scientist with extensive experience in criminal justice, criminology, and mathematical modeling. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from St. Lawrence University, Waggoner went on to complete a Master of Arts and a PhD in Criminal Justice and Criminology at Washington State University. Throughout her career, she has held various roles, including Clinical Science Research Director at Nox Health and Adjunct Professor at the University of South Australia. She has also had positions at Delta Air Lines, where she worked as a Fatigue Scientist - Flight Safety, as well as a Flight Operations and Fatigue Researcher. Additionally, her previous experience includes serving as Lead Behavioral Modeler/Analyst and Staff Scientist for Operational Performance and Mathematical Modeling at INSTITUTES FOR BEHAVIOR RESOURCES, INC. and as a Staff Scientist for Mathematical Modeling at SAFTE-FAST. Notably, she has also been a National Research Council Postdoctoral Fellow at the Naval Postgraduate School and a Naval Research Enterprise Internship Fellow at the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory.
