Ed Johnson

Ed Johnson is the founder of Cold Springs Capital, a position he has held since April 2017. He has a diverse background in executive roles, having served as CEO, President, and COO in various companies throughout his career. Notably, he was the CEO and founder of Golden Precision, a contract manufacturer for military electronics and other sectors, from 2003 until its sale in 2009. Additionally, he co-founded Hi-Tech Manufacturing, which achieved significant growth under his leadership before merging into SMTC Corporation and participating in its IPO.12

Beyond his entrepreneurial ventures, Johnson has been involved in public service as a Commissioner for the Ketchum Urban Renewal Agency from January 2019 to February 2022 and has served on the board of Sun Valley Economic Development.23 His educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Wilkes University. Johnson also has a unique distinction as an Olympic-level athlete in wrestling.1
