    Ed Briscoe is the founder of Weave Social Finance, LLC, established in 2012. He spent over 8 years at Greenline Ventures before founding Weave. Greenline Ventures was previously a division of GMAC Commercial Holdings and Capmark Finance Inc.

    With a background in finance, Ed was involved in early deals funded by the New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) program back in 2004, showcasing his expertise in sourcing, underwriting, impact evaluation, structuring, and closing real estate and project finance transactions.

    Ed Briscoe is known for his advisory and consultancy work with various Community Development Entities, non-profits, real estate projects, and triple-bottom line businesses. He has facilitated investments exceeding $350 million in community development, early-stage businesses, and affordable housing.

    In 2014, Ed founded Impact Charitable, a 501c3 organization dedicated to offering donor-advised funds fully invested in impact, aiming to utilize charitable funds effectively within the donor-advised fund market.

    Ed holds a B.S. in business administration from Samford University and an MBA from Vanderbilt University, specializing in finance, strategy, and human and organizational performance. He currently serves on the board and chairs the credit committee for the Colorado Enterprise Fund. Furthermore, Ed is an investor and board member at Knotty Tie Co., a social enterprise focused on providing quality jobs for resettled refugees.
