Ecy King

Ecy King is a recent graduate and current graduate student at Stanford University with a passion for computer science education and student leadership. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Symbolic Systems with a concentration in Human-Centered AI in 2023.12 Currently, she is pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science, specializing in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI).14

Academic and Teaching Roles

As a CS Section Leader at Stanford University, Ecy is involved in teaching and mentoring other students in computer science courses.13 She has been serving in this role since June 2023.1 Additionally, Ecy is an instructor for CS100A at Stanford's School of Engineering.1

Notable Achievements

Author and Innovator: Ecy is the author of "Bit by Bit," a CS educational comic book aimed at making computer science more approachable and fun.13 This project, supported by Stanford's VPUE (Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education), is set to be printed by Stanford University Press.5

Student Leadership: Throughout her undergraduate years, Ecy held several leadership positions:
