Haiping Choo is a seasoned entrepreneur and a force to be reckoned with in the fintech industry, with a particular interest and expertise in digital assets. As the Digital Assets Lead at Citi Markets in APAC, Haiping brings a wealth of experience to the table, including co-founding two fintech startups, 1exchange and CapBridge, and building a pioneering digital securities exchange licensed by MAS. Haiping is also an accomplished venture builder, having served as a Senior Investment Director at Clearbridge Accelerator, where he oversaw six portfolio companies, three of which went public. Haiping's professional background also includes experience in technology transfer, investment banking, and materials science engineering. Haiping has studied Investment Management and Finance at the CFA Institute and holds a degree in Material Science and Engineering with a focus on nanotechnology and Lithium-Ion batteries from the National University of Singapore.
