Charlie Jewkes is a well-respected Director of Transport with over 20 years of experience in consulting and construction engineering in Australasia, Africa, Asia, and Europe. He is known for his expertise in planning, designing, constructing, operating, and maintaining various mining, tunneling, road, rail, and other infrastructure projects. Throughout his career, Charlie has become passionate about people and infrastructure, taking great pride in helping clients develop sustainable transport solutions that make a positive impact on communities. He leads an integrated team of 1400+ people in 13 offices across Australia, leveraging his vast experience and a keen interest in high performance to drive projects forward.

Charlie is an active member of WSP’s ANZ Leadership Team, serving as WSP’s Reconciliation Champion for Australia, and is also actively involved in the diversity and inclusion space. He has experience in various contract models, from alliances to early contractor involvement to design and construction. Charlie has worked on numerous iconic underground projects, including Hong Kong’s Deep Tunnel Strategic Sewage Disposal Scheme, the Channel Tunnel Rail Link, the Waterview Connection in New Zealand, and the Clem7 and Airport Link tunnels in Australia.
