Arun Gurumurthy is a development professional focusing on rural development in India. He obtained his Master's in Development Practice from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and his Bachelor's in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka. He also holds a Master of Public Administration degree from Karnataka State Open University. He currently works as a Prime Minister's Rural Development Fellow for the Government of India, where he implements innovative projects to improve the lives of those living in poverty. As an out-of-the-box thinker, Arun enriches the district administration by bringing innovative ideas and fresh thinking to planning, execution, community interaction, and outcome management.
