Poonam Prasad is a seasoned fundraising consultant with expertise in major gifts, capital campaigns, and training. She has studied English Literature at Loreto College of Calcutta University and La Martiniere for Girls, Calcutta. Her career as a journalist and freelance writer has honed her research and writing skills that have contributed to her success in fundraising consulting. She has served as an adjunct faculty member at Columbia University in the City of New York and an adjunct assistant professor at New York University George Heyman Center for Philanthropy & Fundraising. In addition, Poonam has served as the President at Prasad Consulting & Research and as a magazine editor, investigative reporter, and advertising copywriter for several organizations.
