Claus Hilpold, a Zurich-based investment consultant, has made his mark in the finance industry through his extensive knowledge and experience in alternative investment strategies. Claus is currently serving as the Managing Partner of POLARIS Investment Advisory AG, where he advises institutional investors on investment strategies. Prior to this, he worked at Harcourt Investment Consulting AG as the Head of Business Development for the German and Austrian market. Claus also held a position at Commerzbank AG as a part of the Derivatives Structuring Team for hedge fund-linked products in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Claus possesses a degree in Business Administration with a specialization in banking from the University of Applied Science in Lahr, and a degree in Bankmanagement from Akademie Deutscher Genossenschaften Montabaur. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA). Claus has co-authored two books, "Alternative Investment-Strategien" and “Innovative Investment-Strategien” and has published various articles on alternative investment strategies. He is a guest lecturer at the Finanzakademie of the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel, where he teaches on Alternative Investments & Commodities.
