I’m a software engineer on multiple agile development teams at Zendesk. Most recently, I’ve joined the Email team to develop a new product for a limited number of customers. This has involved both backend work with Ruby on Rails and SQL, and frontend work with React.js.I’ve also worked heavily on the Business Rules team to support platform configuration-related features in Zendesk. This work has also involved a lot of Ruby on Rails and React.js. In addition, I've used Docker, Node.js, Webpack, and other technologies with this team.Throughout these roles, I have helped build and introduce tools to streamline our development processes.

Highlights of Darko work:- Used JavaScript and a custom framework to develop new features on the front-end. - Helped the team transition to ReactJS.- Used Ruby on Rails to support backend changes and refactor legacy software.Also took part as an original member of the newly formed Team Sylvius. Sylvius aimed to build a new service for an exciting new feature of the platform. Highlights of Sylvius work:- Participated in design and technology sessions to determine the software architecture.- Helped build a new project in Scala that will serve as the backend for the service.
