Enio Meinen

Ênio Meinen is a lawyer with a diverse educational background, holding an MBA in Strategic People Management from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. He pursued post-graduate studies in Business Advocacy in a Globalized Environment at Unisinos and in Economics and Business Law at Fundação Getúlio Vargas. With 35 years of experience in financial cooperativism, Meinen served as the Vice President of Corporate Policies at Confederação Sicredi and as a judge at the Administrative Tax Appeals Court of Rio Grande do Sul (TARF). He is a prolific writer, authoring numerous articles and books on financial cooperativism, including 'Financial Cooperativism in the 2020s: Unfiltered!' (Confebras, 2020) and 'Financial Cooperativism: Virtues and Opportunities. Essays on the Endurance of Cooperative Enterprise' (Confebras, 2016), which was also published in English. Meinen is a sought-after guest lecturer for post-graduate courses at prestigious institutions like USP, FGV, Unoesc, Univali, and others. Since August 2020, he has been serving as the Director of Systemic Coordination and Institutional Relations at Sicoob, while also being a deliberative council member at the Conscious Capitalism Institute Brazil (ICCB).
