Ebony Arunga

Ebony Arunga is an Arts Advocate and Administrative Specialist with a passion for fostering relationships, empowering communities, and assisting artists in their endeavors.
Ebony holds a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts with a concentration in Theatre/Theatre Arts Management from Virginia Commonwealth University. Additionally, she pursued studies in Liberal Arts and Sciences at Seattle Central Community College.
With a diverse professional background, Ebony has served in various roles including Business Manager at Ijeoma Oluo, Co-Owner at Seaweed International, and Production Manager at ARUNGA MUSIC LLC.
Her experience also includes owning and operating Tomorrows Events LLC, managing projects for Artists of Color Expo and Symposium (ACES) at Shunpike, and collaborating with Technology Access Foundation as an Event Manager on the Development Team.
In addition, Ebony has provided her expertise as an Executive Assistant at both Ancestral Art and The Chinua Achebe Center for African Writers and Artists at Bard College.
She has further demonstrated her skill set as an Event Coordinator and Customer Service representative at Faire Gallery Cafe and as a Stage Manager and Technical Director in independent contracting roles.
Ebony's commitment to community involvement is evident through her volunteer work at The Conciliation Project.
