Fenton's career includes serving as a Partner at Serent Capital, a private equity firm that invests in high-growth, profitable businesses. He has also served on the boards of numerous companies, including KORE Software, BirchStreet Systems, Docutech Corporation, and Next Gear Solutions.

Prior to his work in finance, Fenton was a Teacher in the New York City Department of Education, where he honed his skills in educational leadership and social studies instruction.
