Camille Davis is a visual and intellectual historian with a passion for exploring the way images impact social and political discourse in American history. She is a PhD candidate at Southern Methodist University, where she also works as a Senior Editor for "The Future of the Past," a graduate history blog. Camille is also a Project Manager for the Voices of SMU oral history project.

Camille holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Baylor University, an Institute on Political Journalism certificate from Georgetown University, and a Master's degree in History from the University of North Texas. Her previous positions include being an Adjunct Instructor at Paul Quinn College and an Academic Advisor for DCCCD. Camille has also worked for Nike as a Brand Coordinator and Editor, and as a Marketing Coordinator for the City of Dallas.

Camille's primary areas of expertise include American history, art, culture, and politics. She is highly skilled in conducting research, editing digital oral history projects, and creating metadata for data categorization. Camille's interests include enhancing SMU's digital footprint, conducting oral history interviews, and managing social media platforms.
