Hillary Kooistra is an accomplished General Manager in the world of dance, currently leading A.I.M under the Artistic Direction of Kyle Abraham. Her passion for the arts began at an early age, studying at the Academy of Visual and Performing Arts at Bergen County Academies before earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance at the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre, and Dance.

Hillary has cultivated a diverse background in the dance world, holding administrative positions with Lucinda Childs Dance, Trisha Brown Dance Company, Eva Dean Dance, and University Musical Society. Her experience has also seen her perform works by renowned choreographers such as Richard Alston, Andrea Miller, and Peter Sparling, among others. Hillary's achievements have been recognized with the Suzanne H. Butch Scholarship, as well as the Earl V. Moore Award for Achievement in Dance.

Passionate about her work, Hillary has also received several fellowships and training opportunities, including the Dance/USA Institute for Leadership Training Mentee and the EmcArts Arts Leaders as Cultural Innovators Fellowship. Her experience extends beyond the stage, having worked as a Dance Instructor, Child Watch Caretaker, Intern, and Educational Outreach Assistant.
