Responsible for planning, initiating and coordinating a comprehensive program of corporate relations, alumni and public relations for the Simmons School.   Identifying, managing and stewarding key Simmons alumni/friend volunteers and community prospects to help support campaign efforts through research, correspondence, volunteer opportunities and special events.  Manages alumni and friend committees on volunteer outreach efforts with the goal of increasing participation in Simmons Schools’ endeavors.

Delivered science curriculum to middle school students.  In addition, taught Middle School Robotics for grades 5-8 while managing  and allocating annual science budget for class activities, materials, and projects.  In addition to teaching responsibilities, served as part of the school’s Branding Committee with The Richard’s Group, LLC, representative for the Intercultural Council Committee, Intercultural Council Parent Education Committee Chair, and as a Faculty Representative for the Long Range Planning Board.  Coached Varsity Track and Field and Cross Country.  In 2005, Chris founded Mindful Learning to create partnerships between public and private schools.  Within a year, the company began working with over 250 private school tutors and over 500 students in low income areas of Dallas ISD and charter schools such as KIPP.  In 2010, Chris successfully executed the sale of the company.
