He holds a degree in Information Technology and an MBA from Illinois State University, along with several certifications such as C-CISO, CISM, CISA, CRISC, CGEIT. With over 21 years of experience as a Chief Information Security Officer, Greg has a detailed knowledge of complex security infrastructure and information security management. He has worked for leading insurance and financial firms including Pekin Insurance, Horace Mann, and Country Financial, where he managed the creation and deployment of solutions protecting networks, systems, and information assets for enterprise-wide information security programs. In addition to his impressive professional background, Greg has taught as an adjunct instructor at Illinois State University and Robert Morris University in Chicago, IL.
